NASg Technology

Read what makes it different.
NASg Platform
The NASg Platform contains both the NASg system software and a Microsoft Management Console that can be accessed by administrators from any workstation in your network.
NASg Console
The NASg Console operates out-of-band from the NASg Core so there is no dependency on the console in order for a grid to operate.
Key Features of the NASg Console include:
MMC Architecture - ensures seamless integration with existing Microsoft Systems Management Tools and resources such as Active Directory. The NASg Console can be snapped into an existing console to allow the network administrator to manage the entire network from a single pane.
Grid Based Console - The NASg Console is accessible by the administrator from any node within the grid. Administrators do not need to be tied to their desk in order to access the console and the console does not require a dedicated machine to operate from.
Remote Access - The NASg console is fully available over remote connections and has been designed specifically for Managed Service Providers or remote administration.
Active Directory Support - NASg integrates seamlessly with your existing AD groups and structures to ensure there is no duplicated work or information that needs to be synced.
Single Distribution - NASg can be deployed via group policies in your domain controller to eliminate the need to distribute software to desktops.
Alerts - The NASg Console allows administrators to monitor a NASg platform in real time with numerous WMI events or email alerts.
Quotas - Quotas can be set at the volume or folder level to give you increased control over how storage is utilized
Performance Monitors - Gain better insight to storage utilization and performance to optimize your gridstore.
